Pros and cons of V-Cockpit GPS app for iPhone and iPad

V-Cockpit GPS app good for

Great precision when we are moving. Will try it in the plane next week. Continue your great work. My dream for this application would be to select a destination via map and get a pointer in the compass....
This is worth getting and the altitude meter is interesting. The program as it says is great when you are on a train or something.
This is an awesome app. I dont write many reviews but Im quite impressed with this app. It would crash after loading until I restarted my iphone. Its ran smoothly since. I love the real-time feedback, the ability to touch various components to view them individually, the night vision with the moon and falling stars in the main summary screen, the heads-up display on my cars dashboard using the mirror feature, the graphing, etc. On occasion, I noticed the dial in the altimeter spin backwards over 300 degrees, which I presume is because it chose not to do a full, continuous circle. Not a big deal. Very nice app. I thoroughly enjoy it. Compliments to the author!
Heard the app discussed on Mac break weekly. Tried the free version for 5 min and had to buy the full app. Works great, just make sure you are moving for accurate readings.
I have approximately 20 apps. This is the first one I felt worthy of a review. Its great. I drive a 2005 Ford GT, and at night, with V-Cockpit active and reflecting on the underside of the windshield, it feels very much like flying. Going fast helps a lot.
Nice display. Nice sounds. Im going to run the sound through my trucks speakerrs. The engine will roar when I climb the hill when I to home. Night display looks cool. Reminds me of "Janes" combat flight sim!

Some bad moments

Has potential but speed jumps all over the place even after latest update claimed to fix it
So far extremely erratic as a speedometer which I why I decided to buy it as one of my cars has a speedo that is about 10% fast (according to my GPS and stationary government radar speedos (the kind one finds near construction sites and school zones). At o/a 25 mph the V-Cockpit GPS speeds moved erratically from zero to over 100 mph! At 55 mph they ranged about 10 mph high and low.
I got the app for the HUD in my car. Very cool! I get an additional ghost image on the windshield but that is not the apps fault and it isnt very distracting. Would be cool if we could change the color of the display or the brightness for different lighting conditions. A lateral g-meter that locks the highest left/right value (see Cadillac CTS-V) would be way more usefull than the clock at the top in HUD mode. Other than that, my second favorite in-car gadget!
AI is a joke & only works based on the level of the phone.... Can not detect a coordinated turn. Dont even think about useing this in an aircraft
As a B777 pilot, Ive had this app for nearly a year, and cannot get anything but the attitude indicator to work. The gps signal never locks on, so none of the other functions work. (No, its not in the "airplane" mode, and I place my iphone on top of the glare shield where it should be able to receive a good gps signal).
Dont waste your money. This thing is interesting for about 5 minutes, then you realize that it never locks in to a GPS signal and youve been had.
